My second home growing up. This land and house, barn and other buildings have been purchased by the state. They will bulldoze it down to make a new major size road going through it - thus the run down condition. I remember living in the "Country" and now the city is almost next to it. One day it will be so.
Take a trip in your car down memory lane.
Worth the time and effort.

Have you ever visited the "home" that built you?
When I was in SD with my mother...we decided to hop into her car and go into the country to see the two homes that we lived in when I was a little girl.
The memories, the emotions just poured over us.......................
This is my 1st home behind my mother's car and my mother inside silently looking and reflecting on those days long ago....

"Tundra" an abstract Steel stately beauty from artist Virginia Sperry from Maryland. A wonderful sculpture that traveled many miles to be on displayed in EC. Yes, I helped with several volunteers to lift this steel Beauty for it's trip. Very difficult to grab with all of the layering of "Tundra's" coat.
I never thought I would be picking up and moving original sculpture across several states!
The above Marble Sculpture from Artist Patrick Field of Castlegar, Canada is on it's way to EC! 1000 pounds of abstract GORgeouSeNEsS (my word). My personal donation of time and the use of our business box truck and professional driver made the hundreds of mile trip in snow, sleet, wind to pick up 6 Fabulous sculptures for our new city's "Sculpture Tour".
